Welcome to Irlam and Cadishead Academy, a school of Standards & Character.

We expect the best from all of our students - both in their academic studies and in the part they play within our school community. We know that every student has the potential to do great things and as teachers, our role is to give them the tools they need to thrive.

We expect high standards and believe that smart uniform, respectful behaviour and positive attitudes provide the foundations for effective learning. Our students come to school ready to learn and determined to succeed. Across our academy, we are proud to have built a calm, purposeful climate that allows students to enjoy their learning.

Good character is something that stays with us for a lifetime, so we promote respect, enthusiasm, aspiration and determination in all we do. Our students are polite, kind, respectful and courteous. We all strive to support one another and celebrate our successes together.
